5th U boat Flotilla Emsmann
was formed on 1 Dec 1938 under the command of Hans
Rudolf Rosing. The unit ended in Jan 1940 when the
U boat Flotilla was disbanded and the U boats all
went to the 1st U boat Flotilla.
